Oooh I Need That!
We ask for lots of info so your return stays squeaky clean—no surprise love letters from the CRA later!
Onboarding Forms
All the fun paperwork that lets us get to know your details and set up your file.
Checklists
Your new best friends! These help you gather what applies to your situation, so nothing slips through the cracks. If you’re not sure if something applies to you, just ask.
Corporations
Remember, your Federal (including GST) and Provincial taxes are due to be paid three months after your year end. Your corporate tax return is due to be filed six months after your year end.
T slips for income earned and dividends paid out in the calendar year are prepared in January and February and need to be filed by February 28.
We know these dates are confusing, that’s why we write them down and remind you
Personal
April 30: Your personal tax return is due. All taxes owing must be paid. (Yup, even if you’re self employed, and this includes your GST).
June 15: If you’re self employed, your tax return, and your partner’s are due to be filed. But any taxes owing are still due April 30. Filing later doesn’t extend your payment deadline… though we wish it did.
Even if we have CRA access, we still like to see your copies of your slips. Sometimes CRA misses things and sometimes slips appear on your kitchen counter long before they make it online.
